Pop Art inspired coasters made from repurposed drinks cans!!

Inspired by both my love of Pop Art & beer, my latest upcycling project sees me taking old drinks cans (lets be honest, I have a few empties knocking about!) & carefully cutting them apart before gluing them onto a 3mm piece of high quality birch plywood. This is then carefully rubbed down all over to make sure it is splinter free before being given a coat of food & child safe varnish.

Note; The cans have all been saved from recycling so will show small amounts of warping & the occasional scratch, dink etc. This, after all, is the beauty & provenance of upcycled, eco-friendly products.

CANS: SO, SO many different types of cans are available. Please see the image gallery above for available cans- the most readily available are at the top of the gallery. Should you require a specific can or variety of drink please get in touch & I'll see what I can do.

WOOD: 4mm high quality, birch plywood.

FINISH: Matt polyurethane varnish on the plywood back.

CARE: NOT to be left immersed in water, simply wipe clean. NOT dishwasher safe.
