the ROLLER CASTER table

  Made of loft rafters reclaimed from a 1960's house, not only is the quality of the pine  exceptional, but so is its patina.

  Because of this, I undertook minimal amounts of sanding so as to preserve it's beautiful rich leather and tobacco tones. The wood has Not been stained, instead, I simply cleaned it up, sanded off any errant splinters and sealed it all-over with three coats of high quality polyurethane varnish. This gives it a silky-smooth feel with a low sheen, meaning it is also a suitable place for overflow seating should a hoard of family or friends arrive unannounced.
